What do we believe?
We are a church that believes as Christians we are to take up Jesus’ commissioning mandate in Matthew 10:8: “Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.” We believe it’s the power of the Holy Spirit that transforms people’s lives as Acts 1:8 refers to; ¨But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.¨ And, we are a church that knows without the Holy Spirit, we are powerless and without power we can do nothing for God in the earth.
Why are we hosting this conference?
We are hosting this conference to share that there is MORE for the Christian, MORE for their life and their walk with Christ! And to share that MORE begins with the truth about the transforming power of the Holy Spirit and why it is important for it to be operating in the life of a believer. Without the POWER of the Holy Spirit, we cannot fulfill the purposes of the Kingdom of God, as spoken about in Matthew 10:8, and without that power we cannot take territory for Jesus in our own lives and the lives of others!
John 8:32 says,” and you will know the truth and the truth will set you free”
This does not mean that truth itself will set you free, but that “knowing” (having full awareness or consciousness, as the dictionary defines) to what that truth is, will be what sets you free.
So, what is the truth people need to know (have full awareness or consciousness of) that will set them free?
That there is MORE! More than church as usual on Sunday; more than praying and not seeing answers to those prayers; more than watching others live an abundant life but not experiencing it for themselves. There is MORE, and it comes by knowing the truth that we possess the POWER of the Holy Spirit.
We all know the body of Christ has been divided into denominations for centuries, but one thing is true, if we are followers of Jesus then we are not to be divided in Spirit. Christ made us one body and one blood, in Him. Jesus said in 1 Corinthians 12: 12-13; “Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ. 13 For we were all baptized by one Spirit so as to form one body—whether Jews or Gentiles, slave or free—and we were all given the one Spirit to drink.” As the Body of Christ, we have been given POWER by the Holy Spirit to do what we have been called to do by Jesus, as in His mandate in Matthew 10:8. Only a body that knows it has the power of the Holy Spirit can fulfill this mandate. It is time that the body of Christ know they have POWER and work together to fulfill the mandate of Jesus in the earth!
No matter our denomination, the TRUTH is that it’s the ANOINTING, which is the POWER of the Holy Spirit in us, that takes territory for the kingdom of God!
